Music with Animated Graphics
Music with Animated Graphics
I’ve just become aware of music videos with animated graphics. I think that they’re very interesting
and I’d like to share some of them here.
The first one is ‘The Rite of Spring’ by Igor Stravinsky’, The majesty and complexity becomes very
obvious when you see the music visually.
‘Threnody’ by Penderecki.
The visuals make this complex, unique composition much easier to follow and understand to some degree.

I’ve included the next few compositions just for the sheer fun of watching the wonderful graphics. It brings a freshness
to pieces of music that we’ve heard many times. Select full screen, relax and it’s almost like meditation.
The next one is Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 14 – C# minor
Vivaldi’s Spring, from the Four Seasons
Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun by Claude Debussy
Mozart – Eine Kleine Nachtmusik
Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony Mov. I
I’m including this piece because it’s so easy to follow all the motives by simply looking for similar shapes. He built
eveyything on short, simple motives. He was an expert at taking very basic musical phrases and building them into very
complex structures.
Mozart’s ‘Queen of the Night’ (aria, from Magic Flute)
I love the way the programmer did the graphics of the soprano, very effective.
Beethoven’s Große Fuge, opus 133
Mozart, Symphony 25 (G minor, 1st mvt)
Ravel Jeux d’eau
Music + Math: Symmetry in a Bach fugue
First Arabesque, by Claude Debussy
